I could sense, it was an effort to write something about credit card offers. I wonder if anyone remember still how honest should an author should be. One of the best accounts I have ever read is this article.

I read with near disgust this article in The New York Times entitled "Given A Shovel, Americans Dig Deeper Into Debt". The object of the story, or as the NYT paints her, the victim of the evil credit card companies, is a 47 year old woman who just lost her house to foreclosure.
